Female patient, 67 years of age, weighting 168.0 lb, was diagnosed with meningitis  and was treated with Acyclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, dehydration, fatigue, headache , malaise, nephropathy toxic, renal failure acute. Acyclovir dosage: 770 MG EVERY 8 HOURS IV BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with FOLIC ACID, ASPIRIN, METOPROLOL, LOVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
