Acyclovir Side Effects Report #4956674-X
Acyclovir side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from IRELAND on Mar 16, 2006. Female patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with herpes zoster, acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Acyclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cd4 lymphocytes decreased, coma, disorientation, encephalitis , herpes zoster, rash , viral infection . Acyclovir dosage: 3 X 10 MG/KG/D. During the same period patient was treated with FLUDARABINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
