Activase Side Effects Report #6075881-9
Activase side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Jan 29, 2009. Male patient, 53 years of age, was diagnosed with portal vein thrombosis and was treated with Activase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: intra-abdominal haemorrhage, multi-organ failure, peritonitis bacterial. Activase dosage: 10 MG, UNK. During the same period patient was treated with HEPARIN. Patient died.

Female patient, 82 years of age, was diagnosed with cerebral artery embolism, prophylaxis and was treated with Activase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disseminated intravascular coagulation, multi-organ failure. Activase dosage: 24 MG, UNK. During the same period patient was treated with RADICUT, WARFARIN POTASSIUM. Patient recovered.
