Male patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with ischaemic stroke and was treated with Activase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , epilepsy , hypotension, hypovolaemic shock, ischaemic cerebral infarction, pneumonia aspiration, renal haemorrhage, shock haemorrhagic. Activase dosage: 90 MG, SINGLE, INTRAVENOUS. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myocardial infarction, angioedema, atelectasis, atrial fibrillation , atrial flutter, blood pressure decreased, cardio-respiratory arrest, cognitive disorder. Activase dosage: 49MG -10% BOLUS, 90% OVER 60M- ONCE IV. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient died on 01/19/2008.
