Actimmune side effect was reported by a Health Professional from GERMANY on Dec 11, 2008. Female patient, child 9 years of age, was diagnosed with mycobacterium avium complex infection and was treated with Actimmune. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure acute, cd4 lymphocytes decreased, condition aggravated, coxsackie myocarditis, deafness, diarrhoea, gastrointestinal inflammation, lymphadenopathy. Actimmune dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLARITHROMYCIN, AMIKACIN, RIFABUTIN, CLOFAZIMINE, RIFAMPICIN, ETHAMBUTOL, AZITHROMYCIN. Patient died.

Male patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and was treated with Actimmune. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , diarrhoea, pyrexia. Actimmune dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal faeces, anorexia, back pain , chest pain , cough, diarrhoea, dizziness , fatigue, feeling cold. Actimmune dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BACTRIM, CELLCEPT, BENZONATATE, PREDNISONE, LIPITOR, AMBIEN, PAXIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/08/2005.

Male patient, child 10 years of age, was diagnosed with chronic granulomatous disease, aspergillosis and was treated with Actimmune. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , blood amylase increased, condition aggravated, diarrhoea, multi-organ failure, proteinuria, renal failure, venous thrombosis. Actimmune dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMPHOTERICIN B, IMMUNE GLOBULIN INTRAVENOUS, LEUKOCYTE MASS, PREDNISOLONE, ITRACONAZOLE, REFAMPICIN, TRIMETHOPRIM. Patient died.
