Acitretin Side Effects Report #5332793-3
Acitretin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED KINGDOM on May 07, 2007. Male patient, 62 years of age, was diagnosed with psoriasis, pain  and was treated with Acitretin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abasia, activities of daily living impaired, anorexia, arthralgia, bone pain, calcinosis, constipation , dehydration, diarrhoea. Acitretin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MORPHINE, PARAFFIN, CAPASAL, BECLOMETHASONE DIPROPIONATE, SALBUTAMOL, OLANZAPINE, MIRTAZAPINE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 38 years of age, was diagnosed with psoriasis, erythrodermic psoriasis and was treated with Acitretin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, band neutrophil count increased, blood culture positive, candidiasis, chills, condition aggravated, dermatitis exfoliative, eczema herpeticum. Acitretin dosage: 50 MG; QD; PO. During the same period patient was treated with METHOTREXATE, NYSTATIN, HYDROCORTISONE, COAL TAR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Acitretin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with GLUCOSAMINE, MAGNESIUM HYDROXIDE, VITAMINS WITH MINERALS, UNIKALK PLUS, KYOLIC, LOCOBASE LPL, VASELINE. Patient recovered.
