Female patient, 72 years of age, weighting 149.9 lb, was diagnosed with gastrooesophageal reflux disease and was treated with Aciphex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bone disorder, hip fracture. Aciphex dosage: 20 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with NASAL SPRAY, FOSAMAX D, OXACAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Aciphex dosage: 20 MG, 1 IN 1 D, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with DURAGESIC, BETASERON, LASIX, ESTRACE, ARICEPT, HYDROMORPHONE, PHENOBARBITAL, VERAPAMIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
