Female patient, 51 years of age, weighting 154.0 lb, was diagnosed with gastrooesophageal reflux disease, vocal cord inflammation and was treated with Aciphex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ageusia, condition aggravated, gastrooesophageal reflux disease, glossodynia, oedema mouth, oral pain, oropharyngeal pain, pharyngeal oedema, stomatitis. Aciphex dosage: 20 MG BID PO. Patient recovered.
