Aciphex and acute respiratory failure Patient Reports February 11, 2012

Aciphex Side Effects Report #5053232-6
Aciphex side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on June 28, 2006. Male patient, 82 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with gastrooesophageal reflux disease and was treated with Aciphex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory failure, aspiration, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Aciphex dosage: 20 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with COMBIVENT, CYANOCOBALAMIN, PLAVIX, ARICEPT, NAMENDA, WELLBUTRIN, LESCOL, NITROGLYCERIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/07/2006.
