Acetylcysteine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 03, 2006. Female patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and was treated with Acetylcysteine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthma What is  asthma, blood pressure increased, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, condition aggravated, heart rate increased, respiratory distress. Acetylcysteine dosage: 600.0 MILLIGRAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
