Acetazolamide side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 02, 2009. Male patient, child 5 years of age, weighting 40.00 lb, was diagnosed with spinocerebellar ataxia and was treated with Acetazolamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, cough, dizziness What is  dizziness, dyspnoea, incorrect dose administered, loss of consciousness. Acetazolamide dosage: 1500 MG DAILY PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
