Acetazolamide side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 02, 2006. Male patient, 55 years of age, weighting 149.9 lb, was diagnosed with glaucoma
and was treated with Acetazolamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, diabetes mellitus inadequate control, diarrhoea, renal failure acute. Acetazolamide dosage: 250 MG PO TID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
