Acetadote Side Effects Report #5564812-3
Acetadote side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Dec 14, 2007. Female patient, 30 years of age, weighting 114.6 lb, was diagnosed with overdose and was treated with Acetadote. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, acute respiratory distress syndrome, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood lactic acid increased, bronchospasm, hypotension, international normalised ratio increased. Acetadote dosage: unknown. Patient died on 11/10/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bronchospasm, depressed level of consciousness, hepatic failure, infusion related reaction, renal failure, urticaria, wheezing. Acetadote dosage: 500 MG ONCE IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with POTASSIUM PHOSPHATES, LACTULOSE, PROMETHAZINE, PANTOPRAZOLE, PHYTONADIONE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, bronchospasm, erythema, infusion related reaction, tachycardia, urticaria, wheezing. Acetadote dosage: 9800 MG ONE TIME IV; 3250 MG -PARTIAL DOSE REC'D- ONE TIME IV. Patient recovered.

Acetadote dosage: 300 MG/KG IV; 100 MG/KG IV. Patient died on 11/10/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactoid reaction, bronchospasm, hypertension, tachycardia. Acetadote dosage: 150 MG/KG LOADING DOSE IV. During the same period patient was treated with ORAL ACTIVATED CHARCOAL. Patient recovered.
