Acetadote side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Dec 14, 2007. Female patient, 30 years of age, weighting 114.6 lb, was diagnosed with overdose and was treated with Acetadote. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, acute respiratory distress syndrome, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood lactic acid increased, bronchospasm, hypotension, international normalised ratio increased. Acetadote dosage: unknown. Patient died on 11/10/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, acute respiratory distress syndrome, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood lactic acid increased, bronchospasm, hypotension, international normalised ratio increased. Acetadote dosage: 300 MG/KG IV; 100 MG/KG IV. Patient died on 11/10/2007.
