Acarbose side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Aug 30, 2007. Female patient, 57 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus, myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Acarbose. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, hepatitis cholestatic, jaundice What is  jaundice, nausea What is  nausea. Acarbose dosage: TOTAL DAILY DOSE: 300 MG UNIT DOSE: 100 MG. During the same period patient was treated with NILEVAR, AMARYL, NEORECORMON, SPECIAFOLDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
