Male patient, 57 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Acarbose. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, haematuria, hypertension, ketonuria, malaise, nephritis allergic, nephritis autoimmune, nephritis interstitial, proteinuria. Acarbose dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DAONIL, MEDIATOR, PRAVASTATIN, HYTACAND. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with GLUCOVANCE, COAPROVEL, DETENSIEL, VASTAREL. Patient recovered.
