Acarbose side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Mar 17, 2006. Female patient, 74 years of age, weighting 105.8 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and was treated with Acarbose. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis, haemoglobin decreased, hepatitis . Acarbose dosage: 450 MG, TOTAL DAILY, ORAL. Patient recovered.
