Abraxane Side Effects Report #6137270-8
Abraxane side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 26, 2009. Male patient, 41 years of age, weighting 135.8 lb, was diagnosed with malignant melanoma and was treated with Abraxane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, breath sounds abnormal, disease progression, facial wasting, hepatomegaly, oedema peripheral, oxygen saturation decreased, pleural effusion. Abraxane dosage: 170MG EVERY WEEK X 3 IV. During the same period patient was treated with SORAFENIB. Patient died on 02/08/2009.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: malignant neoplasm progression, oedema, pleural effusion. Abraxane dosage: (100 MG/M2, WEEKLY). During the same period patient was treated with CAMPTOSAR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atelectasis, coordination abnormal, gait disturbance, neurotoxicity, pleural effusion, pulmonary embolism . Abraxane dosage: 221 MG, EVERY 21 DAYS, INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with XELODA, NEURONTIN, COUMADIN, LASIX, POTASSIUM, EFFEXOR, MIDODRINE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Abraxane dosage: (221 MG, EVERY 21 DAYS), INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with XELODA, NEURONTIN, COUMADIN, LASIX, POTASSIUM, EFFEXOR, MIDODRINE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Patient died on 02/05/2007.
