Abraxane side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 05, 2007. Female patient, 83 years of age, weighting 150.5 lb, was diagnosed with breast cancer metastatic and was treated with Abraxane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arrhythmia What is  arrhythmia, asthenia, blood culture positive, blood glucose increased, blood urea increased, cardiac failure congestive, confusional state, dehydration, diarrhoea. Abraxane dosage: 216 MG DAY EVERY 21 DAY, INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with CAPECITABINE, ALTACE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, TRICOR, HUMULIN, AMBIEN, DILAUDID, LEVOXYL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Abraxane dosage: 470 MG ONCE (260 MG/M2,X1), INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with VICODIN, XELODA, EFFEXOR, SOTALOL, LEVOTHYROXINE, DIGOXIN, ACTOS, ELAVIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/26/2006.
