Male patient, 83 years of age, weighting 127.0 lb, was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer and was treated with Abraxane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, azotaemia, blood chloride decreased, blood sodium decreased, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, condition aggravated, dehydration, dysphagia, epistaxis. Abraxane dosage: 462 MG EVERY 3 WEEKS; OFF STUDY. During the same period patient was treated with CARBOPLATIN, AVASTIN, CRESTOR, TOPROL, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/17/2006.
