Abraxane side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on June 12, 2008. Female patient, 77 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with breast cancer metastatic and was treated with Abraxane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood albumin decreased, heart rate increased, mucosal inflammation, nausea What is  nausea, neuropathy peripheral, oedema peripheral, protein total decreased. Abraxane dosage: ONE DOSE (390 MG) PRIOR TO SAE. (Q 3 WKS), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with LEVAQUIN, PHENERGAN, ASPIRIN, ZOMETA. Patient recovered.

Abraxane dosage: 250 MG/M2 RECEIVED TWICE (250 MG/M2, SCHEDULED FOR EVERY 3 WEEKS), INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with ZOMETA. Patient recovered.

Abraxane dosage: 470 MG ONCE (260 MG/M2,X1), INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with VICODIN, XELODA, EFFEXOR, SOTALOL, LEVOTHYROXINE, DIGOXIN, ACTOS, ELAVIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/26/2006.
