Abelcet side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Apr 12, 2005. Male patient, 52 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with mucormycosis, staphylococcal infection  and was treated with Abelcet. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, central line infection, renal impairment. Abelcet dosage: 380 MG; QD; IV. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, INSULIN. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 41 years of age, weighting 141.1 lb, was diagnosed with meningitis cryptococcal and was treated with Abelcet. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased. Abelcet dosage: 5MG/KG/DAY IV INFUSION (270 MG IV DAILY). Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, renal impairment. Abelcet dosage: 300 MG Q24H IV. During the same period patient was treated with ALBUTEROL, IPRATROPIUM BROMIDE, CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE, NEUPOGEN, METRONIDAZOLE, ATOVAQUONE, LEUCOVORIN, PYRIMETHAMINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with AMIODARONE, TACROLIMUS, AMLODIPINE, ASPIRIN, ATORVASTATIN, CEFEPIME, SYNERCID, BACTRIM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
