Abciximab and cardiogenic shock Patient Reports February 13, 2012

Abciximab Side Effects Report #5245056-1
Abciximab side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Feb 22, 2007. Female patient, weighting 176.4 lb, was diagnosed with percutaneous coronary intervention, hypertension, pain  and was treated with Abciximab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac aneurysm, cardiogenic shock, left ventricular failure, myocardial rupture, thrombocytopenia. Abciximab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with HEPARIN, CLOPIDOGREL, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, MORPHIUM, CAPTOPRIL, OXAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 10/10/2004.

During the same period patient was treated with DOBUTAMINE, LISINOPRIL, ASPIRIN, CLOPIDOGREL, LANSOPRAZOLE. Patient died on 01/30/2005.

Male patient, weighting 147.7 lb, was diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction, prophylaxis against gastrointestinal ulcer and was treated with Abciximab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiogenic shock, haemorrhagic stroke. Abciximab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RETAVASE, ASPIRIN, HEPARIN, NITROGLYCERIN, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 09/18/2006.
