Abatacept side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Jan 27, 2009. Male patient, 67 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Abatacept. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pneumonia staphylococcal, renal failure, septic shock. Abatacept dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METHOTREXATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
