Abacavir side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from NORWAY on Feb 15, 2008. Male patient, 39 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection What is  hiv infection and was treated with Abacavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atypical mycobacterial infection, haemoglobin decreased, haemolysis. Abacavir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with KALETRA, TENOFOVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
