Abacavir side effect was reported by a Physician from UGANDA on Jan 24, 2005. Female patient, 44 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection What is  hiv infection and was treated with Abacavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood bilirubin increased, hepatotoxicity, toxoplasmosis. Abacavir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DIDANOSINE, KALETRA, RIFAMPICIN, ISONIAZID, COTRIMOXAZOLE, AMPICILLIN, GENTAMICIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
