Female patient, 54 years of age, weighting 130.1 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Abacavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, cough, diarrhoea, lethargy, liver disorder, liver function test abnormal, nausea . Abacavir dosage: 600 MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with BACTRIM DS, CEFEPIME, HEPARIN, RANITIDINE, HYDROXYZINE, LORAZEPAM, OXAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Abacavir dosage: 300MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with LERCAN, EPIVIR, CRIXIVAN, OCTOCOG ALFA, TRIFLUCAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
