Abacavir side effect was reported by a Physician from ARGENTINA on Jan 08, 2009. Male patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Abacavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myocardial infarction, atrial fibrillation , atrioventricular block complete, cardiac arrest , cardiac disorder, chest pain , syncope. Abacavir dosage: 600MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ZIDOVUDINE, EFAVIRENZ. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/04/2008.

During the same period patient was treated with SELOKEN ZOC, LAMIVUDINE, KALETRA, PRIMASPAN, CIALIS, TRUVADA, COMBIVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
